Product Descriptions
The tunnel thruster is installed in the bow and stern of the vessel to create transverse thrust. The propeller can be driven by an electric motor, hydraulic motor, or diesel engine. The entire driving mechanism is integrated within the tunnel structure.
The CRP tunnel thruster is designed with a significantly smaller gear and lower box. The streamlined lower gearbox reduces flow resistance and noise.
Counter rotating propellers significantly decrease bearing load, enhancing safety and reliability in thruster operations.

Dutch Thrustleader Marine Propulsion (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. was established in 2017 as a dedicated production base. We leverage advanced Chinese manufacturing resources for our R&D, engineering, and manufacturing operations.
Our company's production area spans approximately 10,000 square metersand includes a specialized assembly and testing workshop. We hold GB/T19001-2016/ISO9001, 2015 CCS quality system certification, and a BV-Factory Accreditation certificate. Our R&D center is supported by two postdoctoral professor advisors and dozens of senior engineers from Europe and China.
We design and manufacture Tunnel Thrusters, Azimuth Thrusters, Deck-mounted Azimuth Thrusters, and Retractable Azimuth Thrusters, along with advanced thruster control systems. Our thruster products range from 30kW to 6000kW in power. We can integrate and deliver our thruster systems with dynamic positioning systems.
For the renewable market, we provide battery-powered propulsion systems, hybrid electric propulsion systems, unmanned vessel control systems, and custom pod thrusters upon request.
All propulsion projects are delivered under the approval of major classification societies such as CCS, RMRS, ABS, BV, RINA, NK, DNV-GL, LR, and CRS.
