The Azimuth Thruster is ingeniously designed to generate thrust for propulsion in a full 360° direction, enhancing maneuvering capabilities for navigation and precise position-keeping. This versatile thruster can be powered by electric motors, hydraulic motors, or diesel engines. Particularly, the Azimuth Thruster with Counter Rotating Propellers is ideal for high-speed vessels, those with shallow draughts, or applications requiring smaller propeller diameters. When serving as the main propulsion system, it not only propels the vessel forward but also significantly improves its maneuverability.

Dutch Thrustleader Marine Propulsion (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. was established in 2017 as a premier production base. Our facilities integrate R&D, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities, leveraging advanced Chinese manufacturing resources.
Our company's production area spans around 10,000 square meters and is equipped with a dedicated assembly and testing workshop. We hold certifications including GB/T19001-2016/ISO9001, 2015 CCS quality system certification, and BV-Factory Accreditation. Our R&D center benefits from the expertise of two postdoctoral professor advisors and a team of experienced European and Chinese engineers.
We specialize in designing and manufacturing Tunnel Thrusters, Azimuth Thrusters, Deck Mounted Azimuth Thrusters, and Retractable Azimuth Thrusters, complemented by advanced thruster control systems. Our product range covers power outputs from 30kW to 6000kW, and we offer integrated thruster systems with dynamic positioning capabilities.
For the renewable energy market, we provide battery-powered propulsion systems, hybrid electric propulsion systems, unmanned vessel control systems, and customized pod thrusters upon request.
