The azimuth thruster is ingeniously designed to generate thrust for propulsion in a full 360° direction, enhancing maneuvering operations for seamless navigation and precise position-keeping. The propeller can be driven by an electric motor, hydraulic motor, or diesel engine. This azimuth thruster, equipped with counter-rotating propellers, is ideal for high-speed vessels, shallow draught ships, or applications requiring a smaller propeller diameter. When employed as the vessel's main propulsion system, it not only accelerates forward speed but also significantly improves maneuverability.

Dutch Thrustleader Marine Propulsion (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. was established in 2017 as a production base. Our company integrates R&D, engineering, and manufacturing by leveraging China's advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Our company's production area spans approximately 10,000 square meters, featuring a specialized assembly and testing workshop. We are certified with the GB/T19001-2016/ISO9001, 2015 CCS quality system certification, and the BV-Factory Accreditation certificate. Our R&D center is bolstered by two postdoctoral professor advisors and numerous senior engineers from Europe and China.
We are experts in designing and manufacturing Tunnel thrusters, Azimuth thrusters, Deck-mounted azimuth thrusters, and Retractable azimuth thrusters, complemented by advanced thruster control systems. Our power range spans from 30kW up to 6000kW, and we can integrate these thruster systems with dynamic positioning systems.
For the renewable market, we supply battery-powered propulsion systems, hybrid electric propulsion systems, unmanned vessel control systems, and, upon special request, pod thrusters.
All propulsion projects can be delivered under the approval of major classification societies, including CCS, RMRS, ABS, BV, RINA, NK, DNV-GL, LR, and CRS.
